Yahweh Can Use Anyone for His Purpose

Beautiful and blessed day dear family!

This is the first of many blogs to be posted on our website and we are excited to help encourage and inspire you to walk closer with our Heavenly Father and to get to know Him more intimately and by doing so I like to share different testimonies based on how I am feeling called to do so.

Abba Father called me into the military in December, 2020 and the message Holy Spirit had given me months ago was profound. He told me that I was to join the Army and at first I thought that He was talking about His Army- the Lord's Army, until He specifically said the U.S. Army. He went on to share with me that there would be men and women in basic training who needed to hear about Him and they did! I told quite a few people about the love of Yahshua our Saviour and Adonai Yahweh our Father. Two of the beautiful souls that I talked to had given their lives to Him before I left which of course was a sweet moment. I say this not to brag but to give Yahweh our Father ALL the glory and praise, and thanks that He has trusted me to do His will.

Did I want to do this? Did I want to go where He had sent me? Absolutely not. I was content being a 35 year-old female being at home with my husband and joining the military was the last thing I wanted to do and sure, I've received backlash from people of faith but you know what, at the end of the day what matters is that we follow Yahweh and go where He calls us to go, and to do what He calls us to do.

Who would have thought? A woman like me with a past like mine, that Yahweh could use me for something great and trust me to bring lost souls to Him? Upon reading His Word, however, we see countless stories of how He can and will use anyone for His purpose regardless of their past. My past is quite colourful to say the least. I am a survivor of child sex trafficking and I worked as a courtesan for many years on and off throughout my adult years. I abused drugs and alcohol from the time I was a teenager until I was saved and walked in the ways of the world, not thinking that I was worthy enough of Yahweh's love or that I could have a relationship with Him with me being so blemished. Despite all of this, all of my faults, Yahweh loved me enough to not give up on me and showed Himself to me throughout my years of wandering, encouraging me to keep going and showing me that the light at the end of the tunnel was closer than I thought.

All He wants is us to love Him back, to walk in obedience and when I finally surrendered my life to Yahshua Messiah I started praying every day for my Heavenly Father to use me however He so chooses regardless of whether or not I want to at the moment because I know that His will and purpose for my life is perfect and He wouldn't ask me to do anything that I am not capable of handling, nor would He ask me to do anything that contradicts His perfect will for me.

When we give our lives to Yahshua it is no longer about self. It becomes about selfless service and saying to Yahweh, "Here I am Yahweh, send me." -Isaiah 6:8 HRB. As believers, we should not be passive with our walk in Yahshua. As believers, we should not be sitting on the side lines expecting someone else to Yahweh's Kingdom Work because it's too hard or scary; work that is required to help activate other "members" of Yahweh's church- to help awaken them to the great love of Yahshua Messiah our Saviour and prepare Yahweh's Army of soldiers for what's to come in these last days.

Naturally I am introvert and ideally I would love to be living in a small cabin in the woods away from people (even though I love people I also cherish being alone as well) but that's not why Yahweh created me. He did not create us to be alone. He created us so we can have companionship, friendship and fellowship with one another and with Him.

My dear friends, what does your walk with YAHWEH look like? Are you opening yourselves up to your fellow brothers and sisters and encouraging them with their walk? Are you sharing with others who do not yet know Him that there is a loving and wonderful Saviour waiting for that door to be opened so they can invite Him in? Are you standing up for what is right, regardless of the backlash or ridicule you might receive?

Brothers and sisters, RISE UP. Be strong in the Lord and His mighty power. Put on the full armour of Elohim, so that you can take a stand against the devil's schemes...take up the full armour of Elohim, so that when the day of evil comes, you will be able to stand your ground...standing firm with the buckle of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, and your feet fitted with the readiness of truth. Take up the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of Yahweh. Pray in the Spirit AT ALL TIMES and stay alert. (Ephesians 6: 10-18) HRB
